Project Description |
Final Pics |
| Arched Mirror |
My first real project. My Dad gave me some 1.5" x 8"
x 15' white oak handrails from his old office. I milled them down and
created this. |
 |
| Bathroom Cabinet |
Using the rest of the oak, I thought I'd make my parents
this bathroom cabinet for Christmas. |
 |
| Jewelry Box |
A fairly simple jewelry box for my sister. I try to
use a new technique every time I make something so I can further my
learning. The walnut edging here was something I had not yet tried. |
 |
| Craftsman Style Cabinet |
LOTS of mistakes in this cabinet, but it's holding together
well! It's VERY heavy and sturdy. |
 |
| Wall Cupboard |
This is a cool design that I got from another website.
I love the way the shelving works. Made of mahogany and ambrosia
maple. |
 |
| Hall Table |
A hall table for my sister for Christmas with a bowed
front. No, my sister doesn't have a bowed front, the table does!! Milled down 5 layers of mahogany and glued them together on a
form to make the curved front. |
 |
| Music Box with Glass |
Made this for a friend. This was a lot of
fun, and I've thought about making a few of these and seeing if I could sell
them on e-bay. |
 |
| Coffee Table |
I've needed a new coffee table forever. This is my
own design with ideas from looking at hundreds of coffee table pictures on
the web. I love contrasting woods, and I don't like to stain wood to a
different color from natural. I had to make the top twice because the
first was way too large. The tiles are just set in place so they
can easily be popped out (from a hole underneath) if I want to change the
color in the future. |

Paper Towel Holder |
Just a nice quick project for an ex made
from Cherry with dovetail joints. Nicest paper towel holder around! |
 |
| Wine Cabinet |
Took a lot of inspiration from a lot of designs to come up
with this. I can see some progress in my ability (and perhaps my
patience) with this project! |
 |
| Adirondack Chair |
Made for my Mom Mother's Day 2006.
Got the plans for free
online here from Popular Mechanics. |
